2016 Annual Meeting

Around 120 people attended our Annual Meeting held in Christchurch on 14 November 2016. It was a great turn out given the unrest and disruption caused by the earthquakes very early that morning.

2015 Annual Meeting

New reporting requirements for registered charities became mandatory from 1 April 2015.

Tier 1 & 2 New reporting standards meetings

New reporting requirements for registered charities became mandatory on 1 April 2015. Charities Services in conjunction with the External Reporting Board (XRB) held networking meetings in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in late July and early August to support larger registered charities with the new requirements.

The 2014 annual meeting was held on the 17th October in Wellington and was well attended.

October 2014 Seminars

The External Reporting Board (XRB) in conjunction with Charities Services held seminars in October 2014 to update registered charities on the new accounting requirements that become mandatory in 2015. More than 4,500 people attended seminars (or logged on to the webinar) right across New Zealand.
