2018 CLAANZ Conference: Perspectives on Charity Law, Accounting and Regulation in New Zealand

The Charity Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (CLAANZ)(external link), in conjunction with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ)(external link) and Parry Field(external link), hosted the Perspectives on Charity Law, Accounting and Regulation in New Zealand conference in April 2018.

The conference focused on current topics of interest in fields of charity law and accounting, and covered a range of subjects of importance to practitioners and others in Australia and elsewhere in the world.

The aims of the conference were to:

• inform and educate on important topics for charities 
• strengthen links, contacts and collaboration within the sector community
• share lessons learnt and best practice that have worked for others, both within New Zealand and beyond.
