Introduction to the Tier 3 Not for Profit Standard and what has changed

In March 2025 Charities Services hosted two webinars about the Tier 3 Not for Profit Standard.

The first webinar, Introduction to using the Tier 3 Not for Profit Standard, is designed for people who have never completed a performance report before and new organisations that have never filed, and covers:

  • Annual reporting obligations for Tier 3 registered charities

  • Each section of the Tier 3 (NFP) Performance Report and how to fill them in

  • Q&A session with Charities Services staff.

At the end of the webinar you will have seen what information registered charities must provide every year when reporting at tier 3.

The second webinar, Using the Tier 3 Not for Profit Standard – What has changed, is designed for people who have prepared performance reports before, and want to know exactly what has changed from the previous requirements. It covers:

  • Annual reporting obligations for Tier 3 registered charities

  • Specific differences between the Tier 3 Not for Profit (NFP) Standard and the PBE SFR-C (NFP) Public Benefit Entity Simple Format Reporting – Accrual (Not-For-Profit) Standard
