Our policy on sharing/promoting events

Our events page is where we publish information about events Charities Services is attending or holding. Some of the events are not organised by Charities Services.

We’re asked to attend lots of events and unfortunately, we can’t make it to see everyone, that’s why we’re trying out different ways to connect with registered charities in Aotearoa with the help of technology. Check out our webinars page for details of any upcoming presentations that might be of interest to your charity.

Facebook

We might not be able to make it to your charity’s event, but if your organisation is holding an event you think registered charities or the charitable sector should know about, we may be able to share it on our Facebook page.

What we need from you

Before you get in touch with us read what we’re after:

  • the event must be relevant to registered charities
  • the event must be open to the public, free or easily accessible to everyone
  • we’ll only share your content, so you must be able to provide us with an Facebook event, Facebook post or published article or blog we can share on our page. We’re not creating content for you.

We want to help registered charities and support community initiatives but not everything will be right for us to share.

Just because we’ve shared something on our Facebook page it doesn’t mean we’re responsible for the event, or the information presented. We share content in good faith.
Read our Social Media Terms and Conditions for more information about our policy.
